Building a community of lifelong learners!
Our teachers are Montessori trained and credentialed by internationally recognized and accredited programs. They have a deep understanding of child development and the Montessori Method of education. The teachers get to know each individual child in order to best guide them through their academic and social emotional development. Teachers follow the child while ensuring they are continuing along a path toward growth and learning.
Montessori education takes place in three year age groupings in order to best serve the varying needs of the developing child and classroom community. MBMA follows the Montessori curriculum for Children's House (ages 2.5-6), Lower Elementary (ages 6-9), and Upper Elementary (ages 9-12). Children learn Practical Life, Sensorial, Math and Language, Geography, Botany, Zoology, History, Science, Music and Art.
We are a school for children and their families. MBMA faculty understand that it is crucial to work as a team with family and caregivers in educating a child. We strive to be of service to our families and build community. MBMA prides itself on going above and beyond in meeting the needs of the children and their families. We host school events, field trips, parent education events, and family socials in order to strengthen our school community. We welcome families from all backgrounds.
